Following the first 2 days of play with members strictly adhering to health & safety measures I am pleased to announce the following updated measures allowing members greater access to the course. It is imperative that these measures are followed to the letter to ensure the safety of our members and club staff.

Health & Safety Measures

  • Tee time bookings should be done online, if you need access to online bookings please email and the details will be sent to you. Alternatively, the pro-shop phone will be manned between 8am -4pm each day for those members who are unable to book online. If you haven’t booked a tee time, please do not turn up as you won’t be allowed to play.
  • Play will be restricted to individuals playing golf on their own, two-balls comprising of individuals from different households or up to a 3 ball for members of the same household. Social distancing must be strictly adhered to.
  • From Saturday 16th May onwards members will be able to play 18 holes and tee times will be available between 8am – 7pm – Bookings Only!

Please note these new time slots will be available online from 12 noon on Friday 15th May 2020!

  • The clubhouse will remain closed so please can I ask members to arrive shortly before your booked tee times (approx. 10 minutes) and change your shoes etc in the car park.
  • Club golf buggies and trolleys will not be available for hire - This will be reviewed weekly.
  • Members are not required to check in at the professional shop before play. Please go straight to the tee for your pre-booked tee time.
  • There will be a tee of the day with markers signalling the teeing ground.
  • To avoid having to touch keypads security gates have been left open on the course.
  • On the course players must maintain a minimum distance of two metres between themselves and playing partners taking additional care to this on teeing grounds and greens.
  • Our professional staff will be on course marshalling to ensure the correct measures are adhered too.
  • Pace of play need to be strictly monitored to ensure social distancing from the group in front and behind.
  • All bunkers are ground under repair with rakes removed from course.
  • Golfers must leave the flag stick in the hole at all times and avoid touching or holding the flag stick, a device will be placed in the bottom of the hole cup stopping the ball from going to the bottom of the cup and allowing the player to retrieve ball without touching surfaces.
  • On course ball washers must not be used.
  • Practice putting green will open from Monday 18th May and is restricted to 5 mins practice before play with no more than 3 individuals on the area at any one time and remaining 2m apart at all times.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly before and after playing golf, avoid shaking hands after play.
  • Social distancing is as important after a round as it is during the round, so when the round is over all golfers must leave the course and the club/facility immediately so that there are no gatherings around the clubhouse area.
  • Golfers suffering from, showing symptoms or with a household member showing symptoms of the COVID-19 infection must self-isolate and stay away from the golf club for the length of time in line with government recommendations.


Please note the above health & safety measures will be in place and will be strictly enforced. Anyone who is found to be in breach of the regulations will be asked to leave the course immediately, with their membership reviewed.
